Hello @graham,

I noticed that the battlequiz on Bifurcation is missing.

After reading the source text my understanding is that it is basically breaking the reinsurance contracts into smaller components. Is not that against the concept that a reinsurance contract is the smallest basis and cannot be broken down, as discussed in IFRS17 reading?

    There are a couple of BattleCards of "Lower Probability" on bifurcation. It isn't in the wiki or in the quizzes because I deemed it to be a topic of lesser importance. You can get to those BattleCards on the Quiz Filter page or use this direct link:

    • Select Reading: CIA.Reins
    • Optional Setting C: Lower Probability

    If you have a further query, please let me know. (There is just so much information in the syllabus readings that I had to make some decisions on what to emphasize and what to de-emphasize because it's not feasible to learn everything in all readings. Hope that helps.)
