Appendix 3 Excel

Hi,

In the wiki for IFRS17-2, it is mentioned that the full example, that appendix 3 is about, is in an Excel workbook that is not provided. When I'm looking into the syllabus on the CAS website, it seems that they are providing an excel file.

It seems to be the excel file with the example explained in Appendix 3, but I just wanted to confirm that I'm looking at the right file.

If the excel file provided in the syllabus is about appendix 3, are you planning to provide additional explanation of the example?

    Originally, I could not find the Excel file in the source text but the official CAS syllabus now has a direct link to the file so it's easy to find. I forgot to go back and change the note in the wiki. I noted the correction in the Study Tips section of that article.

    I believe that the "Bonus Question on IFRS 17" on the Excel Practice Problems wiki page is a suitably simplified version of the risk margin calculation from the source text appendix:
