Memory Trick for 7 items of work that a peer reviewer should review

I was reviewing, and found another one I wanted to share:

Am AA, Die MAD

Am - Assumptions and Methods
AA - Did AA use AAP?
D - Documentation (of assumptions & methods)
ie - Material Internal/External changes
M - MCT/BAAT assumptions & methods
A - Adequacy of Procedures, systems, & work of others
D - DCAT scenarios, assumptions and methods

"Am AA, Die MAD" means I am the AA, so I'll die mad.

  • You're so funny. You should have your own youtube channel. :D

    I've added a note and a link to here from the wiki. Thx!

  • I attached a picture of the table I use to memorize peer reviewer duties.
    (hopefully it works).
    I noticed many duties reference either Assumptions/Methods (AM) and/or Valuation.
    [VV+SOMe others] -->
    - Valuation (assumptions and methods)
    - Systems
    - Operations
    - Material External Events
    [Swoop] --> Check adequacy of:
    - Systems
    - Work Of Others
    - Procedures

  • Another creative memory trick! I will link to it. :)
