Request: Another "123" Test for MSA.Ratios

You've covered the top 3 revenue ratios: RoA, RoE and RoR

Can we add: Ins RO.NEP to the above group (uses similar variables)
- given it's a trickier calculation (% of assets assigned to UW)
- maybe provide NWP / N.Unearn for each year so user needs to calculate N.EP

Can we get something similar for the leverage calcs:

  • Net.LsRsvs / Eq
  • Net.Levg
  • Net.U/W.Levg

    That is a very good idea. I've had it in the back of my mind to do something like that. The MSA.Ratios "123" problem was one of the first ones I did so I kept it pretty simple. I will definitely make the enhancements you suggest but I'm not sure I'll be able to do it before this sitting of the exam. Anyway, thanks for mentioning it. If I know there's interest, I will move it up on my to-do list.
