EPR on the B/S?

I know that reserve is considered liability on B/S, so is EPR?

The short answer is that EPR is part of equity. Equity is shown on the lower half of page 20.20 in the annual statement. (The upper half of page 20.20 shows liabilities)

This can be a little confusing because often we use the terms "reserves" and "unpaid claims adjustment expenses" as if they were the same thing. But on page 20.20 in the annual statement there is a line for "unpaid claims adjustment expenses" under liabilities then a separate line for "reserves' in the equity section. In this case, "reserves" just refers to extra money that's been set aside.

You can also see from page 92.40 that EPR is part of "reserves". But this is getting into very detailed accounting material and probably not likely to appear on the exam.
