CEO, COO can't be AA unless...

Hi,

the battle card for this question is:

  • authorized by OSFI
  • appointment less than 6 months

for the 2nd bullet point, does it mean that if the appointment if less than 6 months then CEO or COO can exercise both functions without OSFI's prior approval? or in no condition, can CEO/COO be AA for more than 6 months?

    It means that if OSFI gives authorization, such an appointment cannot exceed 6 months. (Approval is always required, even if the specified length of the appointment is less than 6 months.)
