The examples which are given in the battle cards #16-#18 seem to say another difference between prior approval and file & use is that prior approval is used for PPV, while file & use is for non-PPV. Is my understanding correct?
Technically, that information was specifically removed from the "KPMG Regulatory Oversight" reading, available only in the printed study kit. But other material referenced it. I asked the 6C exam committee about that a year or two ago and they told me that was background information that candidates are expected to know.
My thinking is that if they want candidates to know that, they should have kept it on the syllabus. I have no idea why they removed it. It's on pages 10-20 of the KPMG Regulatory Oversight reading but now the syllabus lists only pages 21-31 for what you have to know.
