Flood insurance status in Canada
Hi,
In 2016 reading, the residential property flood insurance is not available, but in 2019 reading we say that 1/3 of the Canadians now have coverage for overland flood? What's the current flood insurance status in Canada, is it offered by the homeowner policy, or only sewer back up is covered through endorsement, and commercial and personal auto is covered for flood?

To be honest, I am not sure. This is not in the syllabus so while it is a nice to know, it won't actually help you to pass the exam ~ There are talks to have flood coverage available to everyone in Canada but that is not the case as of now
