    Battle card #13, we have: it's based on the industry factor, and adjusted for the company's volatility in case loss development, I wonder why it's only considering the volatility in loss development?

    What's the connection between the 2 formula? Is #2 the general formula that applies to both GMA and PAA approaches? and #1 is only valid under GMA?

    Okay. I think I can understand then. So basically the Discounted Excess Ratio approach use the Method #1 which is adding the Investment Income explicitly.

    battle card #13 in full quiz asks for the formula for LRC, the answer is UEP - DAC - premium receivable, I think this is the formula for using PAA method, but not GMA right (GMA: FCF + CSM)
